"Parallel calligraphy" is an artistic font based on the stroke order of "Chinese character". It combines the features of the Parallel Pen and the stroke features of "Chinese character running".In the process of writing, I intentionally retained the sense of "Roman Type" and explored a new way of expression.

Minimalist was not intentionally pursued when writing, sometimes a cursive writing of strokes emphasized the unique round curve and sharp edge. Strong contrast between hard and soft strokes was used to create a smooth, confident writing rhythm.

Every word is a simple pattern. I take apart the strokes of the ‘parallel calligraphy’, using different strokes to assemble into the shapes of 12 zodiac animals in Chinese culture. Then I explore different layouts and artistic combinations of the strokes from the Chinese characters, to create the patterns of the 12 zodiac animals.

此系列作品最大的特点是笔画特点的不同，不同文字组合后的图形都非常的随机，但它们都以极其规律的方式分布，在随机中产生了极其规整的图形，而图形与布白之间又产生了阴阳之美。

The biggest feature of this series of works is the different characteristics in calligraphy strokes. The shapes formed from different stroke combinations are very random, but they are distributed and displayed in a very regular way. This extremely regular shapes generated through a random process is an representation of the beauty of Yin/Yang balance between the shapes and spaces.
